Fairgate Revitalization is a 90-unit mixed-income rental development to be built on 4.5 acres of land located on the corner of Fairfield and Stillwater Avenues in Stamford, Connecticut. This Charter Oak Communities project consists of 15 one and two-story buildings to be constructed on the site. A community building will also be constructed, which will include a community room and office space for visiting service providers. The design team, consisting of Site Systems Inc (landscape architects), Newman Architects (architects) and URS (civil engineering) has secured City zoning, site plan and design approvals. This project will finish construction in the Spring of 2010. Total development costs for the Fairfield Court Revitalization are estimated to be approximately $37 million with another $4 million required for demolition and environmental remediation.
